These terms govern your use of trialpath.app. By browsing the site or submitting a screening questionnaire, you accept them.
What this site offers
trialpath.app describes the clinical trials Trial Path is recruiting for and lets you submit a short screening questionnaire so the study team can judge whether you might be eligible for one of them.
What this site is not
This is the most important section on the page, so it is stated plainly:
- Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis or treatment, and nothing here should be used in place of speaking to a doctor.
- The questionnaire is not a medical consultation, and its result is not a medical opinion about your health.
- Submitting it does not enrol you in a trial, hold a place for you, or create any obligation on either side.
- Nothing on this site is an offer of treatment, of medication, or of payment.
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not use this site to report one — nobody is monitoring it for urgent messages.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or over and in the United States, and you must be applying on your own behalf. Please do not submit somebody else’s details without their knowledge and agreement.
Answering accurately
Eligibility rests entirely on what you tell us. Inaccurate answers waste the study team’s time, and could put you at real risk if you were enrolled on the strength of them. If something you told us changes before you hear from us, write to info@trialpath.app with your application code.
What happens after you apply
- You receive an application code on screen and by email. Keep it — it identifies your application.
- A study coordinator reviews your answers against the trial criteria.
- We may contact you by email or by phone about that application.
- We cannot guarantee that you will be selected, that you will be contacted within any particular period, or that a given trial will go ahead at all.
- Taking part in any trial always requires separate written informed consent, given after the study has been explained to you in full.
Acceptable use
When using this site, please do not:
- submit automated, bulk or deliberately false applications;
- scrape, copy or harvest the site or anything submitted through it;
- probe, scan or interfere with the site, its servers or its email;
- attempt to reach the staff dashboard or any other non-public area;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We limit how many applications can come from one source in an hour and in a day, and we may block traffic that looks abusive.
Contact by email and phone
By submitting a questionnaire you agree that we may contact you about that application by email and by telephone, using the details you gave. You can ask us to stop at any time, and we will.
